The pizzle was treated with Denaturant Blue a food-grade dye used to mark and denature meat and/or poultry that has been deemed adulterated in food processing plants. Such marking is required to prevent the meat and/or poultry from being used for human consumption. *

The dye does not transfer to anything, and the limited amount on there is totally safe. *

These are our regular Pizzle, which while being made ready to be sent for processing were treated with a food-grade dye that made them look a little funny.
